I must state from the outset that I have never owned, or driven, the NSU Ro-80,that seems to be,on paper at least(& in actual fact,IS),a wonderfully complex & advanced car,but one day I hope to.The Neckarsulmer Fahrradwerke (NSU) company began car manufacturing as long ago as 1905. Will the perveyors of,& the management of CARNOD,allow me this little bit of 'liscence' to submit this "review"? I am hoping they will. The German NSU was a great technical advance, from its respective country, "in its day". May I just add some of the Ro-80's attributes? It was a large streamlined marvel featuring the world's first 2-rotor design, producing 84kW@5,500R.P.M. max.power(+145Nm@4,500R.P.M. max. torque)"Rotary" engine. This is at the core of the NSU Ro-80's appeal to this writer.Chief Designer's Froede & Praxl's technical achievements, have inspired others to think of newer ways & innovative methods of powering the car, be they Gas Turbine,Orbital or Electric.
