My Holden Cruze is the 1.8l petrol model. The car itself looks good and gets me from A to B. Apart from the car not having any guts to it the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Also the vehicle is supposed to be one of the most fuel efficient cars on the market at the moment however i have been averaging around 320 to 350 km a tank which is fairly terrible. The car also has issues with a noise when reversing which holden are yet to identify or fix (i wouldnt have thought it'd be that hard). All in all it is a great looking car that has been poorly built. For the price of this car there are much better options out there in the market for much better value. Link
I ordered a 2010 Holden Cruze CDX in an automatic through GWS Oakleigh. The car i wanted was not in stock (obviously not their fault) however I needed a car quickly and ended up buying the model i wanted in a hail damaged model. I arranged a time for picking up the vehicle and when I came to the dealership to take delivery, the car wasn't ready and they thought it was supposed to be the following day. I was also promised a quote to get the damage repaired which they failed to contact me in regards to let alone provide. When I purchased the vehicle I was told by the salesperson that it should be around $800 to fix which was later changed to $2000. When i eventually got fed up and got my own quote it was in the vicinity of $8000. They had blatantly lied to me in order to sell a vehicle. The car also makes a loud screeching noise when reversing which holden insists is not a fault with the car and will not fix. All in all as a customer I would never deal with these people ever again or Holden for that matter. Link
